10 Frisky things to do alone on a Friday night!
1. Workout.
Who says staying home on a Friday night has to be a total drag. It is good to give your body a break from the party scene for a night, (at least) and prepare yourself for the real fun that typically comes on a Saturday afternoon. Spend the time alone by taking a walk in the park, pop in a pilates video, do some crunches, or dance around in your nudey pants to your favorite c.d. There are so many perks to getting your heart rate going, besides just losing weight.
Raising your physical activity level, such as working out, has been proven to increase your performance under the sheets and make the experience overall more enjoyable, while looking fabulous.
2. Take a relaxing bath.
I'm convinced a great bath could solve world peace, there is nothing more relaxing in the world to me than soaking off some stress.
Light some candles, get some great bubble bath or bath salts (LUSH), grab a glass of wine, put on some slow jams, and let the fun begin. To really boost the mood, avoid all contact with the outside world, leave your phone out of reach, it's only 30 minutes, you"ll live.
3. Indulge in a glass of good wine.
Wine can get a little pricey if you know what you're doing, but there are always cheaper, equally tasty, alternatives. Three of my favorite reasonably priced wines are Menage A Trois, [Yellowtail], and Big House Red. I'm not recommending that you indulge in the whole bottle alone, especially if you have to work the next day, but I'm also not shunning the idea. It has been proven that a glass of red wine can help maintain a healthy heart, as well as help your teeth in avoiding periodontitis, aka Perio disease, which rots the gum lining and produces wicked, nasty breath.
4. Read a good romance novel.
Escape reality by living vicariously through someone else story. Whether it's an easy read like Twilight, or a cheesy romance novel, enlighten your brain and lift your spirit with hope that there are good dudes out there. My recent, and most motivating read, has been Sherry Argons "Why Men Love Bitches." This book is not only insanely funny, but it contains a lot of helpful information for women who are just TOO NICE in a relationship.

5. Put a record on.
Music speaks when words fail. Pop your favorite C.D. or record into the player and instantly feel excited to be alone, enjoying such bliss. It's a fact that music stimulates the brain and creates for a better, more relaxing, mood. Pandora is wonderful for listening to your favorite bands and discovering new ones just as good.

6. Walk around the house in your favorite set.
It's Friday night and you're already home alone, might as well go all out! Put on your best frisky pair of upper and lower goods and strut your stuff around your apartment/house. You'll instantly feel breezy and beautiful in no time.

7. Eat Dessert first.
Forget dinner, sometimes cooking for one is just no fun! Grab a skinny cow out of your freezer or some chocolate covered strawberries, to keep it happy AND healthy.

8. Watch a romantic comedy.
I love movies, especially romantic comedies, they give me hope for happiness and hilarity in relationships. Movies are a great way to chill out, kill some time, and make you laugh. My all time favorite romantic comedy is Because I said so, with Mandy Moore. It's a relatable chick flick about a good girl who's been caught up in bad relationships, in high hope of finding a decent guy. Her overprotective, overbearing mother decides to create an online dating account to choose "the perfect" guy for her, without her consent. Needless to say, there are many laughs to be had as things toss and turn into a wildly funny love triangle It's a cute movie, if you haven't seen it, save it for a rainy day, or a friday night in.

9. Get crafty.
I adore creativity, and it lies in all of us. Whether it is scrap booking, painting, making a collage from old magazine clippings, editing your Facebook photos, sewing,or creating a new piece of furniture, crafts are fun to do and not outrageously harsh on the pocketbook. Also, when your're getting in touch with your crafty self, time flies and it keeps you out of the kitchen.

10. Pamper yourself.
A night alone? Oh yeah! This is the perfect time to fix that chipped nail polish, bust out the avocado mask, slap a hair mask on those flyaways, and slip some cucumber slices over those tired eyes. No matter your gender, you only have one body, take care of it. Act beautiful, feel beautiful.
Lmao!!! Brittney this is the best thing I've ever read. Especially love the "although im not shunning the idea". Very very impressed girly! I'll definitely remember the strutting around in your best lingerie tip. Thanks!
