We are all very busy people, and responsibilities tend to stack up like hot cakes. It's nice to have some sort of a meal plan, or any plan at that, so you don't end up wasting your money (and midriff) on another fast food meal. Point is, we're all looking for something fast, cheap, and easy, but more appetizing than that month old, freezer burnt, frozen dinner, or soupy can of preservatives. (ewe) Tasty Tuesdays will be my little treat to you. I will post all kinds of tasty, inexpensive recipes (and instructions) to make your Tuesdays a little less awkward. I will unleash some of my favorite recipes for you to indulge in and would love to hear yours. If all else fails, you've still got the frozen dinner.
Today on the Menu:
Brittney's Bangin Salsa =)
What you'll need:
1 can of Rotel (I prefer Mild for the kick)
1 bundle of cilantro
3 Serrano peppers
Instructions:
Open and drain the can of Rotel.
Grab a handful of cilantro leaves. (I avoid the stems, they weird me out)
Chop up desired amount of serrano peppers.
1 Serrano= Slightly spicy, 2= Bringing in the heat, 3= Feeling hot hot hot
Toss all three into a blender, chill, and enjoy with chips
Awesome! Your salsa is the best.
