Thingy Things

The single serving thing...

This little blender is perfect for blending up something quick and tasty for one. It's small but mighty power is built for smoothies and small servings. The best part about it is, after you've blended to perfection, you pop the cup off and take it with you. I went home for the weekend and my mom had one, it was the coolest thing. She tossed in some frozen berries, a cup of yogurt, a splash of milk, and wah lah, tasty little treat. I tried to convince her to give it to me but she refused and told me that they weren't that expensive. I looked them up and they range from $11-$25....not too shabby.

The smelly thing....

Scentsys are the coolest thing since sliced bread, not only do they smell like a heavenly, but they are wick-less, and safer than your average candle. All you do is buy the scent blocks and melt them on a burner, using a measly little tea light. The blocks melt at an alarmingly fast rate and release an intoxicating aroma. My sister bought me a car freshener Scentsy for Christmas and it still smells brand new. Every time someone gets into my car or walks into my apartment, they always ask me about the wonderful smell of my Scentsy product. There are a variety of smells to choose from, my two favorite scents are Lucky in Love and Red Berry Tea. The car fresheners are only $3 and the scent blocks, containing 6 blocks, are only $5. What a steal!

The natural thing...

I'm all about the au naturel, so when I was browsing the toothpaste isle and discovered that Burt's Bees had a toothpaste, I was ecstatic. I love Burt's Bees products, from their hand salves to their lip balms, i've never been let down. Although it's a tad pricier than your average toothpaste, running at about $4 a pop, it works wonders, and doesn't fill your mouth with nasty chemicals.

The tan thing....

So summer is just around the corner, which means it's time to bare that skin. Instead of exposing your skin to the harmful U.V. rays of a tanning bed or the sun, try this healthier alternative. Not only does Jergens smell delightful, but it gradually lightens your skin to a beautiful, natural, looking color. Depending on your skin tone, pick a color that suits you best and apply it everyday after your shower. You can find it at your local grocery store for about $8, and it's worth every penny.
